Cultural highlights take place all year round. In addition to the open air and the large festival of the famous folk music group “Kastelruther Spatzen” in fall, there is also the chamber music week in summer, the “Oskar von Wolkenstein ride”, the gourmet week "Völser Kuchlkastl" advent under the “Sciliar” with christmas market etc.
Numerous castles can be found in South Tyrol. The castle of „Presule in Fiè“ and the castle „Trostburg in Ponte Gardena“ are some of the most known among them.
